Selain memiliki keunggulan akademik dan seleksi yang ketat, PTN ini juga memiliki keunikan dalam proses seleksinya, yaitu peserta seleksi program sarjana hanya bisa memilih fakultas\/sekolah. Hal ini berbeda dari seleksi PTN pada umumnya yang mewajibkan peserta untuk memilih prodi sejak awal seleksi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Namun, ternyata aturan pemilihan fakultas\/sekolah ini tidak berlaku di semua jalur seleksi di ITB. Terdapat beberapa jalur seleksi khusus yang memungkinkan peserta untuk memilih prodi sesuai minat mereka. Saat pendaftaran, peserta umumnya hanya bisa memilih 3 pilihan, yaitu memilih fakultas\/sekolah, fakultas-kampus, atau fakultas rumpun ilmu. Misalnya, peserta hanya bisa memilih FMIPA-Matematika (FMIPA-M), bukan prodi Aktuaria atau Matematika. Jadi, peserta tidak bisa langsung memilih prodi yang diinginkan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mahasiswa nantinya akan menjalani perkuliahan di fakultas selama 1 semester. Selanjutnya, mahasiswa bisa memilih prodi saat penjurusan program studi yang biasanya diadakan pada akhir semester 1. Proses penjurusan ini dilakukan berdasarkan kuesioner preferensi mahasiswa, kapasitas\/daya tampung masing-masing prodi, serta prestasi akademik mahasiswa selama semester 1. Jika tidak mengisi kuesioner, maka mahasiswa akan ditempatkan di prodi yang kuotanya masih tersedia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ketentuan pemilihan fakultas pada tahap seleksi ini berlaku untuk jalur seleksi berikut.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SNBP<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SNBT<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SSU ITB &#8211; Jalur Tes Tulis<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SSU ITB &#8211; Jalur Nilai Rapor (opsional)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SSU ITB &#8211; Jalur Nilai UTBK<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SSU ITB &#8211; Jalur Talenta: Olahraga<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SSU ITB &#8211; Jalur Talenta: Seni<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SSU ITB &#8211; Jalur Talenta: Keagamaan<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Namun, ITB memberikan kesempatan bagi pendaftar jalur seleksi selain yang tertera pada daftar di atas untuk langsung memilih prodi sejak awal pendaftaran. Daftar jalur seleksi yang memiliki ketentuan tersebut antara lain sebagai berikut.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SNBP &#8211; Peminatan\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SSU ITB &#8211; Jalur Nilai Rapor (opsional)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SSU ITB &#8211; Jalur Talenta: Sains (OSN)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">International Undergraduate Program (IUP)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Khusus untuk jalur SSU ITB &#8211; Talenta Nilai Rapor, peserta bisa memilih fakultas\/sekolah atau prodi.
